The Warped World of Barry Astral

Continuing on with Barry's take on the Giro...

I was going to predict an attack by the Columbian Barloworld rider Soler, who's a real old style Pantani/Coppi type of climber,.On stage 3 he gave us a small demonstration of his abilities.
2 years previously, he won the 'King of the Mountains' in the Tour de France. I remember particularly well, as I had a Columbian woman at the time who lives down my road. I took some posters of him which she stuck on her bedroom wall alongside the one of me shaking hands with Prince Charles,
That's another story, which is completely unrelated to cycling however.
So he's back on form, like myself after taking a visit to 'Doc Feelgood'.
Lance is showing great courage when you think about it? The only comparison I can think of is when I was descending into Brighton on the London/Brighton bike ride a few years ago, touching 50mph on my red ratcatcher ( recumbent to you who,ve never experienced a near death scenario!! ).

As a complete aside, so many years have I have wanted to be able to watch live cycling on the telly. A dream I thought was impossible until Eurosport arrived. Why wasn't the technology developed earlier, instead of sending a rocket to Mars just to satisfy David Bowie, who incidentally was born in Stansfield Rd round the corner from yours truly.

Any predictions that bradley Wiggins could win a mountain stage?
